You lovely commenters have continued to share your own runs, for which I'm deeply grateful. It summons a ghost instantly you can pick up the pot. But, since you have the Crown, all you have to do is get close enough. The Excalibur will be waiting for you stuck on a rock. Cursed Pots: Smash the vases with ghost faces to gain 5,000 coins. And Spelunky 2 includes some pretty wacky ways to earn extra cash. Stone Arrows are most commonly found inside of Arrow Traps in the Dwelling or Sunken City. Unlike most projectiles, they deal two damage instead of one on hit, but break if it is not powerful enough to destroy its target. I did less well in holding back the swears yesterday, but reached even further. Arrows can be made of metal, or tipped with a deadly Poison. The lizard then changed and became (what I presume is called) a cursed lizard. So, I placed a cursed Pot down on the ground, only for a lizard to roll through and break it. That lava, though! I had to swallow a lot of curse words at the end, which you can maybe hear in my stifled, guttural moan. Possible spoilers concerning the Cursed Pot. Today's was better, as I reached midway through world two. If you've forgotten, the runs towards the end of last week weren't going so well, with me flailing and dying on world one twice in a row. Also, a shout out to my complete inability to see a locked door at around the 12 minute mark, despite it being on screen at the time.
